IGKM technical conference and TRANSEXPO staged in Kielce

The IGKM Technical Conference held under the banner of "The Bus of the Future" is to scheduled to take place on 10.10.2016. It is widely known that major technological changes in urban-transport buses are already on the horizon. In the view of "clean technologies" implementation in many European countries, in the coming years we shall witness a major chance - we will see city-transport vehicles significantly different from those that we have known so far.  What kind of buses are these going to be - electric, hybrid, hydrogen-fuelled or other? - We shall try to seek answers to such questions.

A review of new, city-buses related technologies will not boil down to state-of-the-art bus-drives.  The conference's sphere of interest will also include ergonomics and the driver's work-place. 

The conference agenda encompasses the following thematic blocks:

4. Design, ergonomics and economics for the bus of the future

The  IGKM's expo stand at the International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO (11-13.10.2016) will also feature vintage buses - a living proof of IGKM technical and industrial activity in the last quarter of the century. The exhibition will be complemented with presentations whose focus is technological development of city buses over that period. The exhibition will also highlight the Economic Chamber of Municipal Transport's 25th anniversary.
