This year’s, eighth International Fair of Toys and Products for Mother and Child KIDS 'TIME has been marked with records galore. The largest number of exhibitors and visitors ever, the seven exhibition halls filled to capacity, products galore put on show by manufacturers from around - this only demonstrates the event’s growing importance on the international arena and among the business-sector milieus.
This year’s KIDS' TIME goes down in Targi Kielce’s history as a massive success. This exhibition was held from 23 to 25 February 2017 and brought together 474 companies from 17 countries, inducing: Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, Sweden, Slovakia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The exhibition space amounted to 16,292 square metres, the companies that showcase at KIDS' TIME used all 7 Kielce exhibition and congress centre's halls! Almost 7,000 expo visitors became familiar with what producers and distributors have to offer: prams and strollers, car seats, toys, furniture, textiles and baby products.
It has become the KIDS' TIME tradition to offer meetings with Polish and foreign specialists - the child products and services business sector insiders and marketing specialists. The development directions for the toys and products for children market were discussed by Reyne Rice.
- Eco toys - this is one of the trends that reigns in the industry. This can clearly be seen at the KIDS' TIME. The expo stand are the showcase for recycled-materials toys and those made of wood or biodegradables. The trend is followed by the children-products sector - said New York based trends expert during her lecture.
Maria Costa PhD of the Spanish AIJU Institute showed how shops cane utilise the market trends to boost business. Her presentation was a continuation of what has already been presented at the KIDS' TIME - research results on parents’ shopping preferences. The conference also discussed online stores’ logistics, toys safety and trends as well as sales-enhancement tools.
The expo was also the meeting platform for representatives of the international associations: Baby Care Magazines International and the International Toy Trade Association Magazine.
As many as 75 percent of accidents involving children occur at home - - this has been demonstrated in the latest research results of the Polish Institute of Research and Innovation. Only one in three parents takes safety certificates into account when buying a pram or a stroller. And more than 50% of caregivers offer children food and drink when travelling. Common threats and children safety were the lead-topic of the press conference organized by Marko - a strategic partner of the KIDS' TIME expo. The event devoted to children's products safety featured TV star: a actor Marcin Mroczek - a father of one year-old son, a journalist Beata Sadowska - a mother of the two and Paweł Zawitkowski, a children physiotherapist famous for his parental guide offered on TVN.
For the second time the KIDS' TIME programme included the Polish - Russian round table. The event brought together delegations from Russia and Belarus and entrepreneurs from Poland; the session gave an insight into the Russian market. The meeting discussed, inter alia marketing trends in the East of Europe.
- The Internet affects consumers’ awareness. A consumer has been raised in the digitization age. The Russian market is shaped by the main marketing motto - creativity- said Mrs. Ekaterina Migol of GFK when discussing "An insight into the Russian market children's products".
This year's expo was also an opportunity to hold of the second event in the series of meetings between parenting bloggers and child products and services business sector representatives. As many as 31 bloggers from all corners of Poland came to Kielce to see Central - Eastern Europe’s biggest expo of children products and services and find new business leads. The bloggers become familiar with the latest product offered by child products and services business sector and market best selling products.
- The KIDS' TIME expo is Poland’s best place - one stop shop for all kinds of novelties. For me this is a very important event I have visited for three times. The exhibition is really impressive, every year it grows bigger and bigger. I can not imagine skipping KIDS’ TIME visit - said Maria Górecka, the author of the Mums’ Gadgets blog.
