For a number of years, the International Fair of Toys and Products for Mother and Child KIDS 'TIME has been going from strength to strength. And although the bar has gone really high, this year's expo was no exception - KIDS' TIME has again broken its own record. The largest number of exhibitors and visitors ever, eight exhibition halls, market premières and the latest developments on show. The number of foreign exhibitors has been constantly growing. The expo was graced with the presence of the international authorities and foreign delegations. This is a further proof that the Kielce event has excelled to enjoy a strong and stable position among global child-product business sector expos.
This year’s KIDS' TIME goes down in Targi Kielce’s history as a massive success. This exhibition was held from 21 to 23 February 2018 and brought together 512 companies from 22 countries, inducing: Belgium, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, the United States, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, the United Kingdom and Italy. 19,000 square meters was the total exhibition area in all the seven the Kielce exhibition and congress centre's halls and in the special, additional H Expo Hall which was put up especially for the occasion. 7,515 expo visitors became familiar with what producers and distributors have to offer: toys, prams and strollers, car seats, furniture, textiles and baby products.
It has become the KIDS' TIME many-year tradition to offer meetings with Polish and foreign specialists - the child products and services business sector insiders and specialists. Reyne Rice, an American analyst and expert on the products for children has again joined the expo in order to share her expertise in the industry's market trends.
Paweł Szmidt is a specialist with over 20 years of experience. Mr. Szmidt presented the participants with the latest result of Poland's toys market survey.
However, this year's expo edition was held under the banner of on-line activities. Sławomir Rajch- the co-creator of the Allegro Group's education strategy uncovered the secrets of logistics in online stores. Marcin Mielczarek recapitulated his 10 years' experience in online toys store and business. Bartosz Ulman shared his know-how on how to compete in online sales, Agnieszka Rutkowska introduced the issues of children's brands' presence in the social media.
The presence of the representatives of the domestic and foreign business-insiders press clearly shows the expo's international significance. The international journalists at the expo: Hans Henrik de Glasenapp from the Norwegian Baby Hobby & Leketoy, Lena Hedö - the representative of the Swedish Lek & Babyrevyn and Cathy Bryan and from the British www.nursery-online.com. There were also representatives of the German professional press - Tanja Kraemer from Baby + Juniorand Ulla Cramer from Toys. The American Toy Book magazine was represented by Reyne Rice and Robert Bennet.
No need to persuade the readers that the children-fashion companies offer a wide, diversified and multifarious range of products. The expo was a perfect showcase of this diversity and abundance. The Ewa Klucze by Otylia collection - the original project of the excellent Polish swimmer Otylia Jędrzejczak, the mother of the 10-month-old Marceline premièred at the expo. -I was getting ready for Marcelina's birth and I was looking for products that I could trust. I spent a lot of time consulting befriended mums. This is how I found Ewa Klucze. Its clothes are produced in Poland with the use of
the highest quality cotton. Then I hit upon the idea of creating a unique clothes collection for the new-born - said the excellent Polish swimmer in her interview with the mamadu.pl. portal - My little baby makes me prosper for new inspirations. (...) The eight halls make a huge impression. I hope I manage to make a tour over the whole extensive exhibition - she added when asked for feedback on her visit at the Kids' Time.
For the third time the KIDS' TIME programme included the event dedicated to discuss the Polish market opportunities available for foreign companies. This year's Poland-Belarus-Russia Round Table session brought together delegations from Russia and Belarus and entrepreneurs from Poland; the session gave an insight into the Russian market. The meeting participants presented the following issues: "Overview of Russia's children's products and services market" Ekaterina Migol (GFK); "2018 has just begun yet it abounds with surprises right from the start" -Tatiana Butskaya (the originator of the "Consumer Prize - the Parents' Choice" awarded for children's products ), "Business cooperation: effective promotion ways" -Natalia Nawrocka (Academy of Maternity).
2018's KIDS' TIME was also an opportunity to hold the second event in the series of meetings between parenting bloggers and child products and services business sector representatives. More than 20 bloggers from all corners of Poland came to Kielce to see Central - Eastern Europe’s biggest expo of children products and services and the latest offer on show. The bloggers become familiar with the child products and services business sector's best selling products.
