About the event
The 4th Ecological Products Exhibition ECO-STYLE - the recapitulation
The October showroom was a full house - the stalls were full of healthy food, cheeses, honey, homemade preserves and sweets. In addition, the event featured culinary shows and tastings.
The Targi Kielce's market held within the scope of the event gave the trade fair visitors the possibility to see traditional, high-quality products; Autumn Agrotech, Dom i Ty, Eco-Style, Health&Beauty i Rękodzieło hosted over 20 thousand guests from home and abroad.
Healthy food is essential!
The Eco-Style expo's exhibitors agree with this statement. Therefore, this year's expo was full of expo stands filled with ecological products, such as honey, bread, pasta, cold cuts and meat, sweets, preserves and many others. Visitors had the opportunity to taste exceptionally healthy, regional goat cheeses from the Farma Jaga. There were pressed oils and spelt flour straight from farmers' crops,
offered by Adam Galbas' Skalbmierska Manufactory. A rich offer of organic vegetables and fruits awaited the enthusiasts of nature's treasures. Beetroot, common onion, cherry, pumpkin, ordinary bean, pear, apple, autumn raspberry, black chokeberry and currant were available from the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Modliszewice's farmers. All interested were offered the possibility to taste delicious and ecological products, but also ask about the cultivation secrets and gain helpful advice if they consider starting their own ecological business. Representatives of the ZAGRODA KRÓOw, an ecological agritourism farm, were also a part of the ŚODR stall. They shared their experience in breeding horses, Jersey cows and unique species of pig sheep and Kielce geese. The culinary demonstrations and tastings presented at the Polish Ecological Processors and Producers Association - Polish Ecology's expo stand proved to be hugely popular among the fair visitors. The menu included delicious dishes of Polish beef and pork, vegetable soups, pancakes and pancakes with fruit. Buns with rose petals and a yeast dough with organic American blueberry and round grain wheat, aka Trispa served with roasted pork neck, proved to be the hit. In addition to tasting Polish organic products, visitors to the fair could talk with experts about switching a conventional farm to organic production and how to obtain organic certificates.
From farm to fork - the best organic farms
The Kielce Expo is much more than the presentation of the product. Awards are presented to farms that run their business in a sustainable manner. This year's fair's agenda included the conference "European Union Strategy - FROM THE FARM TO FORK" organized by ŚODR in Modliszewice. The conference was also the occasion to present awards the winners of the 14th edition of the provincial competition for the Best Ecological Farm in 2021.
