We buy more and moretoys  this has been demonstrated by the research carried out by RMD Research. The products for children market reported well over the 5 percent increase compared to 2016.  This is a continuing trend. However, parents tastes have slightly changed - buiding blocks, are no longer in fashion, parents now opt for  sport equipment  as the top choice. Teddy bears and electronic toys. lag behind too. What is worth emphasizing the price of small items for the youngest have dropped by 4 percent, which affected the increase in sales. In 2018 we bought over 53 million different types of toys.

The Hot Wheels group is the most important player on the Polish toy market;  this company sold the greatest volume. the LEGO group products are the rankings runner-up. Parents choose LEGO blocks most often, much to their children's satisfaction. This is clearly visible.

The toy market is strongly seasonal - this was emphasized by Paweł Szmidt, a representative of RMD Research in his lecture inTargi Kielce. We buy the largest number of products in December, however the industry reports strong grows in February (the Valentine's Day shopping) and in June when parents shop for sports equipment for children. This is also the intentional children’s day time.
