The event has been designed to stimulate today’s poetic and tourist songs as a genre.  This year's eighth edition of the nationwide event entitled promises to be very interesting. The “At Fireplace" Festival - the festival of poetic and tourist songs agenda  includes two events: the the  Competition and Winners' Gala Concert.

The contestants fight for the audience’s and stars’ award. the later part of the jury comprises the literary music artists, authors, tourist and sung poetry performers.  Bands will struggle to win the  Festival Grand Prix, financial prizes and a special organizer's  Grzegorz Pecel prize.

The festival's culminates with the  Winners' Gala Concert on Saturday, 30 November. This is staged in the Omega Hall, at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.  The concert features the contestants who were competing for the audience award. The concert is also the time when stars appear in front of the public.  The  "Lands of Gentleness"  stars who will perform  - :  Sprzedawcy Dymu [Smoke Sellers]  whose songs are part of the poetic - tourist - shanty style. There will also be the legendary and reactivated band    Wszystkiego Najlepszego [Happy Birthday] and the poetic folk band from the Tri-City -  Myszy & Ludzie [Mice & People].

Accompanying events - the  Vinyl and CD Exchange  and  Christmas Fair.  A specially Festival Cafe will also be available for the spectators.  The organizer of the “At Fireplace" Festival is the  "Białogon" Culture  Centre in conjunction with  Targi Kielce .
