25. Sacroexpo delights with a variety of accompanying events! Exhibitions, art auctions and anniversary competitions

Wesoła54 Pastoral Centre invites you to join the debate on "Catholicism of tomorrow. Lay people's discussion about the Polish Church”, which will take place on 11 June. Experts will discuss the role and importance of the Church in Poland in the context of contemporary challenges during the debate. Moreover, Targi Kielce will host an exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the youth protest in defence of crosses at the Vocational School Complex in Włoszczów, prepared in cooperation with the Diocesan Museum in Kielce. The agenda also includes meetings with authors, including Father Professor Witold Kawecki.
Culture and arts
This year's Sacroexpo will also offer a wealth of religious art. The "The Light of the East in the Heart of Chaos" exhibition will feature liturgical manuscripts and facsimiles of the Book of Psalms from the 17th century and various liturgical vestments by the Lebanese designer Maged Bou Tannous. For the first time, almost 100 works by 21 Slovak artists will also be presented, with the aim of introducing visitors to the world of contemporary religious painting. The exhibition is organised in cooperation with the Artem gallery in Slovakia. The Art Auction House In House has once again prepared the Art Zone, where visitors can bid on modern works on religious themes and buy paintings, sculptures and icons by Sylwia Perczak, Krzysztof Sokołowski, Aleksander Grzybek, Borys Fiodorowicz, Joanna Mieszko and Jan Dubrowin, to name a few. The Expo visitors can also meet and talk with some authors in person. The second day of the expo, i.e. 11 June will witness the Auction of all the presented works; one can bid in person, by phone and online.
Anniversary competitions.
There will also be excitement related to competitions for expo visitors. Consecrated persons, including nuns and priests can take part in a religious quiz with prizes, the main attraction is a five-day pilgrimage to Rome, Naples and Pompeii. In the Good Book Zone, you can read the latest editions and books proposed by the expo’s Media Partners - the largest Polish Catholic publishing houses. Some of the publications will be available during the Expo at the attractions.
