A declaration related to important cooperation scheme signed at the STOM expo

STOM expo has been a meeting place for metrologists for twenty-four years. The construction of COM and the cooperation scope is very extensive. I think that this situation will produce benefits - said Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Board of Targi Kielce
As part of the first stage of GUM construction, six laboratories are built: acoustics and vibrations, time and frequency, together with a length, mass, thermometry and interdisciplinary metrology laboratory. The campus research activity is to begin in early 2024; this facility is to be one of the most modern of this type in the world.
The signing ceremony took place on the congress "Metrology - a chance and a challenge for the future", organised jointly by the Central Office of Measures, Kielce University of Technology and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The meeting was attended by representatives of government administration, entrepreneurs and the scientific milieus. The congress’ topics related to new solutions for companies and institutions which use metrological data. Development directions for metrology in specialised industries of the future were also discussed.
