Not only will this year’s edition of MSPO be the showcase for companies from all corners of the world presenting cutting edge equipment, this will also be the display of Polish Defence Holding boasting its achievements in military and defence production. The Bumar Group, which associated almost 40 national defence sector companies, had operated in Polish market for exactly one decade. Now it has officially changed its name to Polish Defence Holding.

Today, every other PLN spent by the Ministry of National Defence goes to Polish Defence Holding. In 2012 the Holding demonstrated the net profit increase of 147 million PLN compared to 2011. and the future promises to be even more optimistic. The triple helixes composed of defence industry, the army and the science provide for defence potentials of our country; and thus the enhancement of its innovativeness and technological capabilities directly translates to Poland’s defence capabilities reinforcement. This is why the defence industry sector’s development is truly important, not only from economic perspective.
