Targi Kielce – the discussion platform about EURO 2012

The SPORT-OBIEKT trade fair is also the chance to become familiar with the sport facility fittings and equipment; this year’s fair features companies form Poland, Ukraine and Germany

It has become a long-standing tradition that the Exhibition of Sport Facilities, Fittings and Construction SPORT-OBIEKT is accompanied by the Safe Stadium conference co-organised by Polish Football Association. The European football tournament and safety provision at Poland’s sport facilities will be the pivot of the meeting.

The Kielce SPORT-OBIEKT trade fairs and the Conference brings together representatives of football clubs who deal in security provision as well as club presidents and deputy presidents in addition to regional and local sport activists. This interest in the trade fairs is the proof that local governments more often invest in sport infrastructure and a visible sign that the preparations for EURO 2012 are about to finish.

There will be over 400 participant of the prestigious conference “Safe Stadium”. The Conference will first and foremost focus on the state of Polish preparation and the organisational aspects of the UEFA EURO 2012 Tournament as well as the legal status of match organisation and safety provision from the perspective of the applicable legal regulations and the secondary executive regulations. Other discussion subjects will be the stadium Safety Manual - UEFA EURO 2012 – project on cooperation with football fans, safety provision at the stadium and in the public areas around them during the international matches of EURO 2008 as well as the concept of the police involvement into football tournament safeguarding.

The presentations at this year’s conference will be delivered by the EURO 2012 Tournament management representatives and the authorities and the representatives of PZPN, the specialists from the EURO 2012 organisational committee, the PL 2012 Special Purpose Vehicle, Ministry of Interior and Administration, the National Police Headquarters, Boarder Guards, SWPS (High School of Social Psychology) as well as foreign guests representing Austrian and German police departments; they will present their experiences derived from European football tournament as well as the World Cup organisation.

The trade fair held simultaneously with the SPORT-OBIEKT exhibition is the Video Surveillance Conference and Exhibition ALARM, which constitutes a perfect complement to it.
