A sensational performance by a trumpet virtuoso from London at the Targi Kielce Jazz Festival Memorial to Miles
The trumpeter from Bahrain (the Persian Gulf), gave a performance that the audience boldly described as sensational, with comments such as "The trumpet is sharp and sounds are like a razor". Her new jazz performance never forgot of classics - the inspirations taken from the work of Miles Davis were aparent; many spectators of Friday's concert were also delighted with the musicians accompanying Yazz Ahmed. These were Ralph Wyld on vibraphone, David Manington on bass and Martin France on drums.

The Sunday (24 September) jazz meeting commences with the Włodek Pawlik’s trio on stage. Pawlik comes from Kielce. The artist has been the first Pole to have received the Grammy statuette - the most important award of the American phonographic industry.
Many find Marek Pospieszalski's octet the most important project in Polish jazz in recent years. The band performs at the Targi Kielce Memorial to Miles festival's finale. Marek Pospieszalski will be joined by tenor saxophonist Piotr Chęcki, trumpeter Tomasz Dąbrowski, violinist Tomasz Sroczyński, guitarist Szymon Mika, pianist Grzegorz Tarwid, double bassist Max Mucha and drummer Qba Janicki.
Four days’ fiesta with jazz masters in Kielce
