Agrotech and Las-Expo 2025 delivers the record number of visitors and dozens of orders for machines

17 march 2025
80,000 people from Poland and abroad visited the Agrotech agricultural technology fair and the accompanying Las-Expo wood industry trade fair Bothe Kielce events culminated on Sunday afternoon. 9,000 more visitors than last year (71,000) and 5,000 more than the previous record from 2019 (75,000). What's more, exhibitors emphasize that each of the three days’ show abounded with orders. Suppliers and manufacturers boast dozens of orders!

Each of the three days (14 to 16 March_ was exceptionally crowded at Targi Kielce;  Visitors came from various parts of the country and also from abroad;  and among them were farmers and entrepreneurs from Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Italy, Germany and Hungary.

They got to know the offers of 520 companies from 20 countries, which occupied 10 exhibition halls and an outdoor area, a total of 68 thousand square meters of the center's area, two thousand more than last year.

The industry revitalization at the Agrotech Expo

The record-breaking number of visitors is also a reason for companies’ satisfaction. – Exhibitors have been waiting for such a revival of the industry for several years;  Our trade fairs allow you to choose from many offers machine. And, more importantly, you can negotiate rates and take advantage of epxo promotions – says Doctor Andrzej Mochoń.

- Farmers' attitude towards investments is quite optimistic,  all round balers from our offer have already been sold. The same with our manure spreaders.  The segments that include these two machines experienced a dramatic decline in the previous year. This was so profound that it is hard to imagine, says Paweł Korbanek, President of the Korbanek Management Board.

One of the most powerful tractors in the world has found a customer in Kielce

More and more companies emphasise that they found customers at the Agrotech Expo; – Already on the first day, interest in our offer, including the most potent tractor at our stand with an output of 715 horsepower, was huge. To our surprise, a farmer came. Negotiations on the terms of the sale are in the final stages. Tillage machines also found buyers,  Pottinger and Vaderstad were also sold. In total, there are several dozen units, several of which will be leaving for farms any day now -  reports Mariusz Kisiel, owner of Kisiel Agrotech, a supplier of Case IH tractors.

On the second day of the exhibition, the brand’s supplier, Wanicki Agro, announced the sale of a John Deere tractor;  customers who came to Kielce to finalise the transaction appeared at the Massey Ferguson tractor stand. - We also gained new contacts here;  chances of signing contracts are very high – says Łukasz Szlufik, owner of LukPol Agro, supplier of the Massey Ferguson brand.

The electric tractor, a novelty at this year's expo, also found its buyers. - There is a good chance that we will be able to sell this tractor to Polish customers as well, says Rafał Mikołajczak, product specialist at Fendt.

Agrotech's new machines sell like... hot cakes

Machines for field working were in demand. Bogdan Kozień, Sales Director at Hardi Polska, talks about effective meetings.  – A dozen or so sprayers will be delivered to farmers straight from the expo centre; the recovery in the industry is significant, farmers want to go shopping - he emphasises.

Kinga Sobczyk, domestic sales manager at the Polish company Landstal, speaks of great interest in machines for organic farming. - The rotary weeder for those who want to avoid using herbicides and focus on strictly ecological cultivation. I think it is only a matter of time before we finalise the agreements, he emphasises.

The GAL COMBO cultivation and seeding set, presented for the first time at Agrotech, also found potential buyers.  - Our premiere in Kielce marjs the beginning of a good trakck record for this set, i.e. sales of equipment in great numbers - says Józef Seidel, member of the management board of the Polish company Mandam.

The ROL/EX expo stand was attended by customers who did not want to wait for the delivery of the machine. – They offered to take the no-till cultivator straight from the expo hall – says Michał Warzyński, production director.

Artificial Intelligence Reaches Farmers straight from the expo centre

The autonomous robot AgAr, presented by Aurox at the Las-Expo trade fair, gained customers.  - Something new - and to my surprise, many people are interested. Artur Lasota, sales representative, says I have already had several prospective customers who want to use it to care for crops on forest plots.

Everything indicates that the presence of drone suppliers at Targi Kielce will not end with the presentation of drones, including those for spraying.  We talked to agricultural advisory centers, private investors who own plant nurseries, producers of rolled grass, and people who want to provide commercial drone services. After less than two days of the expo, we have several very promising talks scheduled. The sale of ten or maybe even more agricultural drones is under consideration, says Martyna Mościcka, marketing specialist at Vector Agr.

Forecasts for the machines market

Many Agrotech exhibitors emphasise that purchases are no longer primarily determined by EU funds, although some owners of smaller farms base their investment decisions on them. – Machines “age”;  farmers need new ones to work effectively, efficiently and economically, stresses Doctor Andrzej Mochoń.

- This year will be better in my opinion - says Paweł Korbanek, CEO of Korbanek.  - There is also quite a lot of uncertainty;  we expect the war between Russia and Ukraine to end. Farmers, however, believe that the end of the war could be the beginning of a major challenge for the industry;   as farmers from Ukraine will certainly need equipment, but the entire world in this industry will also certainly mobilise and submit offers. Opening up the market is an opportunity, but it does not mean that it will be an easy business for people supplying machines. We expect strong competition to be in the market – sums up Paweł Korbanek.

New investments in Targi Kielce

The end of the Agrotech is the commencement of a priority investment for the Kielce exhibition and congress centre;  once the expo hall additionally constructed for this event is dismantled, the site will be taken over by the contractor of the new exhibition hall. Strabag will build a facility with a usable area of 15,500 square meters on the ground floor and another 3,000 square meters on the mezzanine.  The indoor area of the expo centre will increase from 38 thousand to 52 thousand square meters. The new expo hall will be ready in the summer of 2026, and Agrotech exhibitors will set up stands there in 2027.
