The opinion poll for the handball fans organised by the internet portal handball-planet.com to select the best ML preliminary phase player has indicated the Vive Targi Kielce player Michał Jurecki. Scoring 5,500 internet users’ votes, which is 37,7% of all votes, “Dzidziuś” was the smash-hit winner well ahead oh his rivals. The Internet users had the chance to vote on-line for the best preliminary round player for a few days – I am glad that so many people granted me with their recognition; this is really nice – said Michał Jurecki commenting on the popularity contest results.

The opinion poll Michał was so victorious in attracted 15,000 voters; this means that the plebiscite was quite popular among the internet users. The competition was really tough and undecided until the last moment before the poll was close, i.e. Sunday at midnight. Michał’s greatest competitor was Kirił Lazarov, the player of Atletico Madryt scored 5.164 votes (35,3%).

The Vive Targi Kielce quarterback has outpaced many other handball stars including Mikael Hansen, Filip Jicha, Gabor Csaszar or Darko Stanic. The quarterback of MKB Veszprem – Gabor Csaszar was ranked third scoring 2,129 votes (14,5%).
