The authors of 11 works selected in the second phase of the LINK 2012 contest have the chance to present their bicycle designs and projects directly to the business sector producers brought together at the 3rd International Fair of Bicycle Industry KIELCE BIKE-EXPO. This meeting is designed as a gateway for potential cooperation; it also provides new technical solutions and outlook for the world of cycling as well as to provide an alternative to what is already available on the market. The designs are put on display in the E hall of Targi Kielce from 2nd to 4th October

It is also the form of promotion for quality design used in production and marketing; it also creates a chance for the producers and designers to meet.

The LINK competition is organised by the Design team in conjunction with Targi Kielce. The contest is addressed at industrial design artists and bicycle aficionados.

Contest distinctions have been presented to Bartosz Kowalczyk for his TRIGGER - MIEJSKI SPRYCIARZ (A City Smart) – a brave form of a new foldable bicycle which comprises comfort and ergonomy and city traffic functionality and Nikolas Kościński for his Y COMPACT DESIGNERSKI ROWER, KTÓRY CHCESZ MIEĆ (The Designer Bicycle you Want to Have) – an innovative form complemented with cutting-edge and courageous technical solutions. The contest winner is Stanisław Juszczak and his design LET’SPRINT SPORTOWY ROWER NIEDALEKIEJ PRZYSZŁOŚCI (A Sports Bicycle of the Nearest Future)– a non-banal bicycle design opens the way for new technologies which are already on the horizon.
