“Gas is referred to as blue fuel; it is the fuel of the future, the energy which we supply to over six million end users and companies all over Poland”– said Grażyna Piotrowska-Oliwa, the President of Polish Gas and Oil Company during the EXPO-GAS opening ceremony. – “Meetings, including the event which is just being commenced must focus upon the business sector development, care about its future, its innovativeness and secure position” added Ms Piotrowska-Oliwa.

The guest who participated in the opening ceremony; i.e. representatives of the state and local government, business and scientific milieus highlighted the importance of the EXPO-GAS for the business sector.

”This year’s EXPO-GAS is a record breaking show – we boast the largest exhibition space and the greatest number of exhibitors. For the first time we have the pleasure to host companies from 9 countries – this triggered the discussions about changing the show’s name and, what comes as a natural consequence, changing the EXPO-GAS’ status. At the consecutive board meeting we shall discuss the new name – the International Gas Engineering Fair” announced Mirosław Dobrut, President of Board of the Chamber of Natural Gas Industry.

The EXPO-GAS 2013 trade fair facts and figures – 112 companies from 9 countries; they put their offer on display on 1,200 sqare metres. The exhpo continues until Thursday, 18th April.
