Time 11.00 "Bioreactors in pursuit of clean air - air purification from VOCs and odours in Compact Three-Phase Bioreactors".

The lecture centres around using the innovative technology of Compact Three-Phase Bioreactors (KBT) using gas/air bio-purification processes. This guarantees the necessary reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and odours emitted into the atmosphere, especially in the paint industry. The technology has been implemented and tested in various sectors, including in KGHM Polish Copper SA at a depth of 1000 m, Aquanet SA in - sewage treatment plant in Poznań, Communal Waste Disposal Facility SA in Bielsko Biała, Schwinn LLC - paint shop, Plascotech LLC - the automotive industry. The implementations offer a high degree of ecological efficiency and significantly lower operating costs compared to the technologies used so far.

The speaker -  Damian Kasperczyk, PhD. Since 2011, a co-owner and President of the Management Board of Ekoinwentyka LLC,  responsible for environmental protection and biotechnology, primarily air purification. He is focused on innovative technological solutions, with in-houset created Compact Three-Phase Bioreactors (KBT) for processing of H2S, NH3 and odours. In 2019, he obtained the defended PhD. at the Faculty of Environmental and Power Engineering, the Silesian University of Technology, on the basis of the following thesis:  "The use of three-phase bioreactors for the degradation of volatile organic compounds and odourogenic substances".

Time 11.20. "Supervision of anti-corrosion processes - requirements for the competence of companies and personnel."

The presentation related to supervision over anti-corrosion works, particularly the requirements for companies performing anti-corrosion works. The competence of personnel supervising and controlling the anti-corrosion works is also a part of the discussion.

Speaker - Jerzy Kozłowski - Inspector SLV-GSI Polska LLC  FROSIO level III anti-corrosion inspector, IWE International Welding Engineer, certificates of competence in the field of non-destructive testing VT2, PT2, MT2, long-term organiser and lecturer of anti-corrosion training courses, including internationally recognised FROSIO anti-corrosion and insulation inspector courses. The auditor of the DVS-ZERT certification body in the field of systems according to ISO 9001 standards; EN ISO 3834; EN 1090. The author of several dozen articles in the field of welding and anti-corrosion. 

Time 11.40. "Low-Temperature Curing of Coatings."

The lecture's focus is on low-temperature powder coatings approved by QUALICOAT class 1. Discussion of the causes for the so-called blooming effect visible on the surfaces of paint coatings, the use of a new generation of blooming-free powder paints.

Speaker - Bogdan Szarek - Technical and commercial advisor, Regional Manager and Coordinator of the paint department at Ecoline. Ecoline has designed and supplied powder coating lines for various industries for over 20 years. The company's offer is complemented by a wide range of powder coatings, in addition to training and consulting; the latter is a vital part of the business. Lecturer of Powder Coating Workshops - practical training organised since 2019 in Krosno. Since 2022, a member of the Commission for Powder Paints in the Polish Corrosion Association.

Time 12.00 "Chemical surface treatment - facts and myths".

The lecture covers the chemical preparation of metal surfaces, the use of appropriate technological processes, quality control of these processes and environmental protection.

The speaker - Marcin Trela - in 2007, he became an employee of EMPAS Chemical Processing of Metals, where he gained knowledge and experience about chemical processes, the production of preparations and mechanisms of operation. In 2012, he became a co-owner of a company that produces liquid crystalline phosphating preparations. Since then that year the company has expanded its activity to include the production of loose preparations for degreasing, passivation, aluminium processing and a liquid ecological pickling preparation. In cooperation with Eng. Ewa Maślankiewicz the firm keeps expanding knowledge and experience in surface preparation and technological processes.

Paint demonstrations every day

The "Industrial Varnishing" editors invite you to paint demonstrations and surface preparation. For the first time in Kielce - each expo day offers not only the possibility to watch technologists and machines and devices working live (booth and applications for powder coating, liquid applications, paint wall, paint furnace, grinding table, shot blasting and others) painting equipment), but also, if you are willing,  to try your hand at industrial painting. The shows will be held in G expo hall, expo stands no. 65 and 67).
