Boxing time at Targi Kielce

The 1st International Boxing Industry Expo kicks off at Targi Kielce The unique event is organised by the Polish Boxing Association in cooperation with the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. The trade fair is part of the National Olympic Boxing Day celebrations.

The Boxing Expo is a unique opportunity to meet almost all outstanding boxing personages.  Friday, 10 June and Saturday, 11 June is when the the so-called Quarters with the Masters sessions rre held. The great event hosts  Marian Kasprzyk, Jerzy Rybicki, Andrzej Gołota, Tomasz Adamek, Paweł and Grzegorz Skrzeczowie, Leszek and Krzysztof Kosedowscy, Kazimierz Szczerba, Wojciech Bartnik, Kazimierz Adach, Henryk Petrich, Janusz Zarenkiewicz and Tomasz Borowski and many others.

Marian Kasprzyk won the Olympic Games’ gold medal in 1964 (bronze - four years earlier), and Jerzy Rybicki was triumphant in 1976. Paweł Skrzecz reached for silver in 1980. The large group of Polish Olympic bronze medalists includes Wojciech Bartnik, the current coach of our national team, the representation returned from the European Championships in Yerevan on Monday.

The International Boxing Industry Expo is a celebration of Polish boxing, a space for experiences, knowledge exchange, business contacts and nurturing passion for all people related to boxing. Kielce also hosts Krzysztof Głowacki, Mariusz Wach, Kamil Szeremeta, Łukasz Różański, Albert Sosnowski, Andrzej Wawrzyk and others persons associated with the professional ring.

The President of the Polish Boxing Association, Grzegorz Nowaczek, announced that an attempt to establish a Polish Record in the number of people practising boxing at the same time in a live training session would be made during the Expo.

The 1st International Boxing Industry Expo and the 2nd National Boxing Forum will be attended by the world federations, unions, clubs, sports organisations and associations, local government authorities from all over Poland, sportsmen, professional and amateur players, famous people of sports, politics and business, presidents of District Boxing Associations.
