H.E. Wiesław Mering, the Ordinary Bishop of Włocławek grants his Honorary Patronage to the International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art Sacroexpo.

SACROEXPO – the exceptional event which has been held in Targi Kielce for over a dozen of years. Targi Kielce, the Central and Eastern Europe’s third largest trade fair and exhibition centre is the venue for the exhibition which brings together almost 300 exhibitors from 15 countries. The trade fair is complemented with scientific conferences and artistic events. The SACROEXPO comprises a whole diversity of products and services: ittings and equipment for old church and modern sacral facilities as well as modern pastoral service, catholic media, travel offices and multimedia evangelisation.

The Kielce sacral exhibition is the place where two spheres meet – business and arts – says the Targi Kielce Presiden of Board Andrzej Mochoń PhD - The vital exhibition elements, in addition to the trade fair offer, are the diocese museums’ exhibitions, sacral art put on display and the religious song festival. SACROEXPO is the only exhibition where the Pontifical Council For Culture Medal Per Artem ad Deum (Through Arts to God) has been presented for eight years. This year’s accolade have been awarded to Polish and world music scene representatives – the late professor Stefan Stuligrosz; the founder of Poznan Nightingales choir; and the genius of film music composition Ennio Morricone. This year is exceptional because the laureates’ concert is not held within the framework of the exhibition but on a separate occasion. On 29th September the exhibition pavilion will be the venue for Poznan Nightingales and Ennio Morricone conducting the Swietokrzyskie Philharmonic Orchestra in concert. The medal will be presented by the President the Pontifical Council For Culture H.E. Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi.

Targi Kielce is ranked third among all Central and Eastern Europe’s trade fair and exhibition centres in addition to being one of the two leaders of Polish business sector. The exhibition space accounts for 90,000 square metres including the 36,000 square metres in 7 fully equipped exhibition halls. Trade fair centre n numbers – 210,000 visitors and guests from 56 countries, almost 6,500 exhibitors and 185,000 square metres of the exhibition space leased.

SACROEXPO is exceptional among all exhibition; it also enjoys European status and recognition. SACROEXPO is an ecumenical dialogue between religions, this is the example how the Church, arts and business coexist.
