Wastech Recycling is an environmental consulting and waste disposal professional. Agnieszka Płodzik, head of the Environmental Protection Department, who was present at the trade fair, spoke about the correct process of waste disposal. This concerned companies involved in the production, distribution and sale of cosmetics, components and pharmaceuticals.

- Everything that makes up the product packaging, i.e. a vial, a box, a screw cap, and even a piece of string or a decorative ribbon, can be disposed of and utilised. The most important thing is that they are properly recycled - Agnieszka Płodzik from Wastech Recycling said in her presentation.

In her speech, she also mentioned product fees for producers, sellers and importers of packaged products. The session introduced the representatives of the cosmetics industry to the environmental rules resulting from the acts on the obligations of entrepreneurs and the acts on electro equipment and batteries.

In the second part, she focused on waste management, based on the example of companies from the cosmetics industry. The company representative emphasised the role and necessity to utilise and recycle waste generated during the production of cosmetics. For example, packaging for hazardous substances, cosmetic masses, components or expired cosmetics are a part of the waste stream. She also presented an offer related to goods unsuitable for sale to companies - these are rendered harmless.
