Content and development are the NECROEXPO highlights

The 10th International Fair of the Funeral and Cemetery Industry - not only does the expo bring together the entire funeral sector, but it is also a driving force for the development of companies and industry specialists. Numerous lectures and conferences at Targi Kielce discussed: occupational hygiene in funeral homes, preparation of the deceased for the farewell exhibition, rights and obligations of the undertaker and psychological care for funeral home clients

Targi Kielce NECROEXPO agenda included 24 presentations on the first and second day alone.

Agnieszka Nowak, Chief Specialist at Salvum BHP, lectured on "Hygiene in a funeral home". and raised important issues regarding the disinfection preparations used, emergency procedures and post-exposure procedures.

– As an employer, you [ed. employee] you are to protect and ensure a safe preparation.  […] The cleaning lady cannot have just one pair of gloves. […] She must have appropriate gloves for the specific formulation: […] one pair of nitrile glove; to the other pair made of butyl; to the third one made of rubber, resistant to chemical substances; one short, the other pair is long, the third almost to the shoulders – said Agnieszka Nowak from Salvum OHS and advised entrepreneurs on how to select the equipment necessary for employees to use the preparations.

Lawyer and long-time local government employee, Doctor Mariusz Strawiński, lectured industry insiders at NECROEXPO and refered to "Protection of personal rights and data of deceased persons. The funeral parlours’ and cemetery managers’ rights and obligations”.  The expert explained the basic issues regarding the protection of the deceased's personal rights.

This year's NECROEXPO is held until 9 June.

Hungary takes the leader in grave digging competition! They completed the task with maximum care and in the shortest time
During the ongoing Necroexpo International Fair of the Funeral and Cemetery Industry, the Hungarian team triumphed in the grave-digging competition. The Hungarians completed the task the fastest and most diligently; the team from Slovakia was the runner-up, and the Poles took the podium third stage
