The exhibition of Stanisław Rodziński’s, an outstanding artist, painter, essayist open to the SACROEXPO 2013 visitors

Professor Stanisław Rodziński was congratulated by the President of Pontifical Council for Health Care Workers, His Excellency Fr Archbishop Zygmunt Zimowski

Stanisław Rodziński is an acclaimed Polish artist, painter, essayist. Rodziński is master in light and chiaroscuro use; and thus he produces in the viewer the expression of colours which seem to be multi-lingual. For a number of years Professor Rodziński has collaborated with the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, where he occupied the position of the Dean and then the Rector. Rodziński is also a member of Polish Academy of Learning PAU and the National Heritage Board of Poland’s Programme Council. Professor Rodziński is the laureate of numerous accolades, including the Medal Komisji Edukacji Narodowej (Commission for National Education Medal) in 1993, and the Officers’ Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, in 2013 he has been bestowed with the Pontifical Council for Culture’s Per Artem Ad Deum Medal in recognition of “the shades of life which embody the quest for solace and reflection upon life’s transience”. Professor personally welcomed the guests and opened his exhibition.

there are 16 paintings on display at the exhibition, inter alia: Pieta III, Maria Magdalena, Podparty (The Propped), Błękitny Krajobraz (The Blue Landscape), Zielona Chmurka (A Green Little Cloud).
