DEFENDER Awards

The 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition culminated in prestigious awards and distinctions; the accolades were traditionally presented to honour exceptional achievements in the field of defence and innovative technologies

DEFENDER Awards  awarded for special achievements in the field of defence, both for companies and institutions. This year, awards were given to innovative vehicles, loitering munitions systems, passive location systems, and other modern solutions that support security.  The award is bestowed upon the resolution of the MSPO Program Board chaired by Paweł Bejda, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence. This year's awards were presented by the Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who was present at the gala ceremony. The Minister's of National Defence's Distinction was also a part of the function.  

TOP DESIGN 2024 - awards for expo stand arrangement  were also presented. Not only aesthetics but also functionality were recognised.

The ceremony also witnessed companies celebrating their anniversaries, honouring these firms with special awards. Distinctions from key military institutions such as the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate, the Territorial Defence Forces Command and the General Command of the Armed Forces Branches were also handed.

  9. The consortium of Autocomp Management LLC, Military Institute of Armament Technology for the network-centric command module of a comprehensive training simulator for units equipped with the Rosomak APC

  2. Armed Forces Epidemic Response Centre– for professional and immediate surgical assistance during MSPO.

Award of the President of the Polish Space Agency

  1. Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Aviation for the success of ILR rocket - 33 Bursztyn 2K

Award of the Head of the National Security Bureau:

  1. The consortium of AMZ-KUTNO SA, Military Institute of Communications, Military Institute of Chemistry and Radiometry, Military Institute of Armament Technology – for the LOTR light armoured reconnaissance carrier.

Special Award of the Minister of Development and Technology – Best Polish Arms Exporter:

  1. Jakusz – for export achievements.

President of Targi Kielce Award

  1. WB Electronics– for the EyeQ Tactical Battlefield Reconnaissance System.

Following the agreements signed yesterday with the USA and PGZ companies, further million-dollar contracts aimed at strengthening NATO's eastern flank were concluded. The result of the cooperation contract concluded a year ago during the International Defence Industry Exhibition by the Polish Armaments Group with ICEYE and Military Communication Works No. 1 was presented at this year's MSPO in Targi Kielce. The Mobile ISR Satellite Reconnaissance Platform is one of the most modern solutions in the world. It allows armed forces to make quick decisions based on real-time satellite data.

This year's 32nd attracted a record-breaking number of exhibitors - 769 companies from 34 countries, including the largest representations from the USA - 53 companies, Great Britain - 34, Australia - 31, Canada - 30, Germany - 28 and South Korea - 27. The expo importance was emphasised by the guests of honour present at the MSPO opening ceremony
