Ekotech has officially started! "This trade fair will keep developing on a large scale."
The Kielce municipal industry meeting offer the opportunity to learn about the latest solutions in the waste management sector, emphasised the head of te Kielce exhibition and congress centre. There is plethora of innovations for waste processing, sorting and transport. - According to Central Statistical Office data for 2022, there was an average of 355 kg of municipal waste collected per inhabitant of Poland, which means a decrease of 5 kg compared to 2021. We generate less waste and much less than the average in the European Union. Importantly, we also pay more and more attention to waste segregation; we even make purchasing decisions to look at whether the waste is suitable for recycling once the product has been used. We have a lot to do in this area i.e. waste management. Thus our event is certainly needed and will further develop - said the president of Targi Kielce, Doctor Andrzej Mochoń.
Participants will have two days for exploring innovation, as well as acquiring and exchanging information. The International Waste Management Forum is being held for the tenth time, and the event is targeted at representatives of local governments and municipal companies. The event is organised by AK NOVA, a strategic partner of the Ekotech. – This year’s forum is exceptionally international, we have guests from Portugal, Slovakia and Austria. There will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about practices in other countries. We are grateful for being a partner of the Ekotech for so many years, we invite you to join our event and expo stand - said Rajmund Prusiewicz, proxy of AK Nowa.
