The trade fair strong point – a number of business insiders’ conferences

The Fair of Ecology, Municipal Waste Services, Recyclable Materials, Waste Management and Recycling EKOTECH the 2012 edition encompass exceptionally large number of conferences and business-insiders’ meetings.

Each trade fair participant and exhibition guest will find a topic which lies in their interest or is convergent to their company profile.
  • The conference on Used electric and electronic appliances processing in Poland is a meeting platform for a whole arrays of business milieus as well as representatives of the bodies involved in the creation and operation of specific elements in the chain of used electric and electronic appliances collection and processing. The Conference will feature the presentation of the existing technological, systemic and educational solutions; it will also be the place for discussions and experience exchange. The Conference is targeted at the recycling business sector insiders, self government representatives and all those who are not indifferent to the problems of natural environment.
  • The conference on End-of-life vehicle recycling confronts a very interesting, however often neglected problem of vehicles which are mo longer used – that is old, unserviceable or post-accident salvage cars. Often such cars still block parking lots, they are stored in back yards or end up in forests. Problems of combating the grey market will be discussed during the conference in addition to presentations of new, ecological technologies of vehicle scraping and educational initiatives in this business sector. Vehicle recycling facilitates environment protection, thus the conference should be attended first and foremost by those who run car-breaking facilities, as well as recyclers, environmental protection specialists and those who combat the parallel market.
  • Environmental Conference “National Programme for Communal Waste Water Treatment – update, consequences, finances. Sewage sludge – a problem or a chance for green economy ”. Polish environmental regulations change rapidly owing to the fact that that a whole series of European Union directives are being incorporated into the domestic legal system; as well as the fact that Poland has to meet the deadlines set out in the EU accession documents. Thus it is necessary to intensify the work on environmental protection in Poland. This is the problem of air protection, communal waste water treatment as well as waste management and sewage sludge in particular. The Conference subject matter is the response to the demand expressed by local governments, utility service companies and enterprises as they want to broaden their knowledge regarding waste water and sewage sludge management; the tasks they are obliged to carry out. Representatives of National Water Management Authority and the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will be the Conference lecturers – they will familiarise the attendants with legal, formal and practical solutions as well as the possibility of finance acquisition in the next programming period for the years 2014 – 2020.
  • The conference on “Waste packaging management in companies” and “Systemic changes based on the new Act on the maintenance of municipality and commune in clean and orderly conditions ” Entrepreneurs, representatives of self government bodies, environmental protection specialists and all those who are interested in environmental protection issues are most welcome to take part in the two-day conference devoted to waste management. The first day of the conference will feature the most important guidelines and principles of waste and scrap packaging management in companies, the methods of how to cut down on as well as how to utilise waste.
    The second day will comprise lectures devoted to the amendments and changes of the Act on the maintenance of municipality and commune in clean and orderly conditions introduced at the beginning of the year. New legal and organisational regulations regarding communal waste management procedure will be discussed in the meeting. The lectures will be given by the expert of Waste Management Department of the Ministry of Environment.
