The Kielce team, for the first time in its history, has won with the Hungarian MKB Veszprem team. It was a magnificent match for the Kielce team members - Michał Jurecki who scored 9 goals Marcus Cleverly (excellent interventions all through the game), Zeljko Musa - 5 goals and Mateusz Jachlewski and Mariusz Jurasik whose play at end of the match was outstanding.

- All the players did a good job in defence; they deserve to be given a big hand. Marcus; the gaol keeper also did the trick. Józek’s attitude also makes us happy; we was a real alternative in the offence. We had a good game, and although we sometimes missed on finish, it was a decent match all in all. The players’ reactions were proper despite the fact that we lost some goals; one cannot always defend against loosing points. This match has demonstrated that our defence becomes more harmonious. When we have people to play we do not have to introduce changes in the offence, the game goes more smoothly. Not so often does one win in this arena; as you can see we’ve got our piece of luck. We’ve put all our heart into this game – said the coach of the yellow-white-blue team after the match end.

Bogdan Wenta’s players were supported by as many as 200 Vive Targi Kielce fans sitting on the Veszprem Arena stands.
