Evolution in the service of ecology - the Ekotech history
From 2010 to 2013, Ekotech operated as the Ekotech Ecological, Municipal, Recyclable Raw Materials, Utilization and Recycling Fair. Exhibitors presented a wide range of products and services related to modern waste management, such as containers for municipal waste and secondary raw materials, hydraulic presses and press containers, grinding mills used in recycling, and other devices enabling safe and economical waste collection.
Companies cooperating with municipal and city offices and municipal plants attended the trade fair, offering solutions in the field of sewage treatment plants and systems. The show was a platform for presenting innovative technologies and exchanging experiences between industry specialists.
Since 2014, the 15th trade fair - the event has changed its name to the Ekotech International Environmental Protection and Waste Management Expo, a name that has been used to this day. Along with the name change, the trade the event's product and service range also expanded. From that moment on, in addition to issues related to waste management, the exhibition booths featured devices and systems used in environmental protection, as well as modern technologies supporting sustainable development. Conferences, training sessions, discussions, and business meetings, organised with the support of Ekotech's industry partners, became an integral part of the trade fair. These events enabled participants to expand their knowledge and establish valuable contacts in the industry.
2010–2014 were a period of intensive development of the Ekotech, which adapted to the changing market needs and challenges related to environmental protection. The thematic and organisational evolution contributed to strengthening its position as one of the most important industry events in Poland.
