Fr Bishop Marian Florczyk is a new member of the Permanent Council of the Polish Bishops' Conference
The Permanent Council is responsible for preparing the Plenary Meetings' and the Council of Diocesan Bishops' agenda, implementation of the Conference and the Council of Diocesan Bishops' decisions, work coordination of the Conference and taking a position on necessary public matters.
The Permanent Council comprises more than a dozen members, including several metropolitan archbishops, diocesan bishops and auxiliary bishops. The Council's term of office is five years.
The Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Kielce, Marian Florczyk, is also a delegate of the Polish Bishops' Conference for Pastoral Care of Athletes, a member of the Council for Social Affairs as well as a member of the Council for Youth. HE Bishop Florczyk sits on the Pontifical Council for Cultures. His many years of service has demonstrated a significant commitment in cooperation with the Kielce exhibition and congress centre and involvement in the SACROEXPO and the annual Per Artem Ad Deum awarding ceremony organisation.
