The Betonox company from Sopot won the tender; the firm is to build a multi-storey car-park to accommodate 500 vehicles and equipped with a monitoring system for parking lot availability as well as the west-side entry terminal. - We want to complete the car park construction by spring in 2013. This will make the logistics easier for the March International Fair Of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH. This exhibition attracts as many as 55 thousand visitors. Just after the fair we shall take care of the building’s façade which will be mainly covered in greenery. The west side terminal will be operational by the end of 2013. the main Targi Kielce entrance will then be located on the west side of the lot – says Andrzej Mochoń, Targi Kielce President of Board.

- I do hope that the technical commissioning of the new facility will be the success comparable to our triumph in the tender held by Targi Kielce. Our company was founded in 1998 and although we originate in Sopot, for many years we have had our bonds in Kielce. This is the place many of our employees as well as managerial staff come from. What is more, for a long time we have collaborated with construction companies from Kielce and we are going to continue this practice. – says President of Betonox Betonox Construction Wojciech Grzenia.

Targi Kielce is the venue for an increased number of conferences and business sector meetings. The name of Kielce trade fair and exhibition centre is synonymous to a reliable trade mark; it is famous for its care for the customers and their comfort and satisfaction.

The Targi Kielce infrastructure comprises of Poland’s most state of the art exhibition hall E and the 7 fully equipped exhibition pavilions. The centre’s development is also associated with congres and conference services; thus the idea and the need to create a new venue in which to host world-class conferences, symposia and events. The Congress Centre which is being constructed now, owing to whole series of non-standard solutions, will offer a diversity of uses. It is able to accommodate as many as 1000 people. The Centre will also be equipped wit the underground car park lot. This lot will be one of the two parking facilities which will facilitate the Targi Kielce’s operations.

The newly created Congress Centre has a landmark – a 57 metre tall look-on tower with a banquet and conference room. A special 7- axial crane with the crane jib of almost 70 metres and the capacity of 400 tons was required to put on the crowning element of the Congress Centre’s look on tower. Only such a gigantic crane was capable of hoisting a few dozen ton construction up to the spire’s top. The open steel construction if informally called “a harp”; this one has been decorated with a red ball of 3 metres in diameter which weights as much as 300 kilograms. The ball has been suspended at the level of almost 60 metres above the ground; it can be seen from a long distance and thus stands the chance to become the Targi Kielce’s symbol. A smaller version of it is to be found over the entry terminal.

This is the last phase if the 170 worth Targi Kielce infrastructure extension. All the works are due to be completed by the end of 2013.
