The new EU financial perspective for 2014-2020 provides opportunities for fundraising by the TSO. This is an important topic for the whole sector thus the International Exhibition of Fire and Rescue Technique EDURA programme could not miss it. EDURA will be held from 12 to 14 June 2014. The fringe events programme includes the conference on "The new perspective of fire protection financing."

In the course of the meeting the opportunities for volunteer firefighters brigades brought about by the new financial perspective will be examined. The new programming period's cohesion policy budget has allocated 82.3 billion Euros for Poland; thus voluntary fire brigades - the organizations local communities find important ought to realise tasks which are in line with the policy objectives. Provision of supreme public safety services, social activation and the promotion of new technologies - these are the tasks cut out for voluntary fire services.

The International Rescue and Fire Technique has been held in Targi Kielce since 2008 in conjunction with the Foundation for Rescue Education and Technique EDURA. Since in 2013, the expo has had another partner - the Hanover Fair - the organizer of INTESCHUTZ exhibition. Last year's edition was the showcase for the latest products put on display by 166 exhibitors from 13 countries. Almost 6,000 visitors attended all the exhibition.
