This year’s edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition, like in previous years, gathered numerous trade fair visitors. The 19th MSPO was supplemented with very attractive events – the Fire Brigade rescue operation and the presentation of the Police dog training.

Smoke, noise, the sound of crashing metal – this is the brief description of a major car accident which was the start to the show. As the result the passengers and the driver were injured. The fire-fighters provided them with professional help – the injured were evacuated from the car with the use hoists, extinguishers and specialised equipment for car-body cutting. Once the people were out of the vehicle, the medical services provided medical assistance. All through the operation the specialised technical and chemical rescue crew was present at the accident scene; they were safeguarding the operation. Efficient cooperation between different units resulted in effective and swift help provided for the victims. The presentation was prepared and delivered by Kielce Voivodeship Commandership of National Fire Brigade.

No less exciting was the Police dog training show which gathered many spectators. It was prepared by the Police Cynology Department in Legnica. The show was run and hosted by warrant Police officer Edward Wiśniewski. The dogs which were presented at the show had been training for 4 months. All the spectators and guests had the chance to see the animals really involved into cooperation with the order-keeping forces.

The show featured, besides the display of aggressive behaviour, the elements of obedience training and cooperation of this juvenile animals. After the show the dogs return to Legnica; there is one more month of training and the final examination. This swill result in the fruitful cooperation with the Police officers in the next 8 or 9 years.
