How should the world use energy sources? Find the answer at the ENEX expo!

In March 2008, Targi Kielce hosted a three-day meeting which brought together representatives of several industries: energy, municipal, pneumatic and hydraulic sectors were largely represented. For the first time, apart from the ENEX and EKOTECH, there was the PNEUMATICON show held simultaneously; the event hosted over 130 Exhibitors from Poland, the UK, Sweden and Germany.

ENEX 2008 was accompanied by numerous fringe events, e.g. the "Renewable Sources of Energy - ENEX 2008" meeting on the share of renewable sources in the generation and consumption of electricity and heat in Poland. There was also the national conference on the Renaissance of Nuclear Energy 2008 entitled "Environmental aspects of a nuclear power plant operation", which was an opportunity to obtain information on nuclear energy. The 9th EKOTECH was attended by leaders - services and solutions providers for the environmental protection and waste management sectors. The PNEUMATICON was held for the first time in Targi Kielce, and the new show was the opportunity to meet specialists representing the food, machine, automotive and construction industries, as well as engineers specialising in production, design and quality control.

The discussions during the expo mainly focused on renewable energy sources, pro-ecological activities in the waste management sector, energy saving and the development of heat pumps, geothermal energy and biogas plants in Poland.
