At this year’s edition of KIDS’ TIME fair, the Material Engineering and Environment Laboratory KOMAG will be presenting their offer. The laboratory is the EU listed institution; it promotes the idea of safety tests for products used by children.

The laboratory tests offer is addressed at the producers, importers and distributors of toys, articles for children and playground equipment.

On Saturday, 2nd April at 10.30 within the framework of the National Conference BUSINESS SECTOR FOR CHILDREN, which accompanies the Fair, the Laboratory Manager Beata Grynkiewicz-Bylina, PhD Eng. will deliver a lecture on “Safety tests of products for children”.

The subject matter of the lecture will address the problems of the basic aspects of the safe use of products and in particular the products for children. The main threats and their origin as well as the product qualities which influence safety will be discussed in the presentation.

The scope and methodology of tests used to verify the compliance of products with the safety requirements will also be presented. The test and examination procedures used in the accredited Material Engineering and Environment Laboratory KOMAG in Gliwice will be exemplified by a selected product tests.
