Exhibitions stimulate the state's economy as well as the economy of the regions where expo centres are located. The meetings industry is made up of a multitude of companies whose revenues depend on the well-functioning exhibition industry. These are hotels, restaurants, companies dealing with expo stand development, advertising companies, printing houses, and even florists or other SME-offered services. The exhibition industry has been one of the first to be affected by the pandemic impact.

The process of overcoming the crisis caused by the pandemic may prove painful for exhibition centres all over Poland, as well as for companies related to the expo centre's activities.

The Trade Fair Industry Defence Committee has taken up the action and issued postulates. This campaign may prove to be an opportunity to overcome the extremely difficult situation the entire meetings and the exhibition industry are facing now.
