It is thus a marvellous place for those who are into geology and want to trace and observe the remnants of the past. This is one of the few places in Europe where you can visit underground passages of Chełm carved in the chalk rock as well as the world-famous loess ravines in addition over a hundred Roztocze’s stands with fossilised trees and sea animals or fabulous geological formations (waterfalls, caves or river rapids).
