Made under the watchful eye of Kross Racing Team

Targi Kielce – the venue for 2014 KROSS collection premiere

The new bicycle series is a crowning element to a many-year engineering and design project of KROSS; the team has been working on a diversified and comprehensive mountain bicycle range. The greatest changes will be introduced into the MTB segment; this will be complemented with the 27,5 inch-wheeled bicycle series – Level R. The line will be comprised of seven models; four aluminium frame (Aluminium Lite, Aluminium SuperLite Evo) and three carbon frame (Carbon SL).

The interesting thing is the engagement of the Cross Racing Team in every phase of R&D and design process. The team members used the new designs for in-field tests and offered their feedback on the prototype models. Bicycle’s exceptional qualities and manoeuvrability have been gained owing to the team members engagement.

The top model 650b, Level R+, draws the greatest attention – this is the further development of the Level A+ and Level B+ idea. The R Series top model will be equipped with components provided by new wuppliers; a complete SRAM XX with 2x10 transmission and DT Swiss 1250 Spline carbon wheels. The set is complemented with Rock Shox SID XX fork and Easton EC90 components.

Among the aluminium models line the top one – Level R8 is worth a notice; a new aluminium alloy has been used here; the SuperLite Evo material is not only lighter but also more resistant to mechanical damages. This provides for less ballast and a higher durability when used in competitive sports. R8, just like to top-model in the carbon line will be equipped with 20-shift transmission SRAM (X7/X9).

All the carbon frames as well as those which have been made of the new aluminium alloy Level R8 have been equipped with solutions which provide for a more durable construction and a lower weight, they also improve riding experience. The Direct Mount derailleur gear, expanding under-seat pipe, Post Mount brake and frame-head – T-Head Tube in addition to internal drive conduit – these are just a few solutions used for typical 27,5” frames.
