Marta Tryc pronounced the 2024 Omniplast! "Woman’s Power!"

- I am proud - says Marta Tryc, this year's Omniplast competition winner, the event jointly organised by Targi Kielce in cooperation with the tworzywa.pl website and held within the scope of Plastpol Expo. During the Platinum Plast gala Marta received a unique statuette and the main prize - the PLN 8,000 voucher for the Kraiburg TPE company she represents

OMNIPLAST competition is one of such initiatives which complement the PLASTPOL expo - the competition is aimed to disseminate and popularise knowledge of plastic processing and the related processing technologies.  The Competition is targeted at all companies exhibiting at the 28th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL.  The first two Competition stages are online struggle,  with participants answering questions they are emailed. The experts experts milieu prepares the quizz. In the third stage, the finalists meet at Targi Kielce; on the first day of Plastpol they take the last test.  During the Platinum Plast gala, the winners are announced.

This year, first place, the title of Omniplast, the unique statuette and the main prize went to Marta Tryc, representing the Kraiburg TPE.

- The questions were difficult, in my opinion the competition leve was very high, so I am very proud - emphasises the winner. – I graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, majoring in Mechanics and Machine Construction, where I took classes in plastics processing.  Professionally, I run extrusion and injection moulding tests, and I often supervise machines and production. This experience was instrumental in answering many questions correctly,  as most of tasks were related plastics processing. Thus experience was very important for my result.  

Marta Tryc is the first woman to have won the Omniplast competition. - I realise that it is not often that a woman work injection moulding machines and extruders divission;  I'm even more happy with the win.  I invite everyone, especially women, to participate in this competition;  there is woman’s power! – says the first place winner.

Second place went to Łukasz Kantor representing Grupa Azoty, who received the PLN 6,000 voucher, while third place and the PLN 4,000 voucher went to Piotr Matusiak from Wittmann Battenfeld Polska. The winners were showered with congratulations on their expert knowledge.

The tournaments total prize pool amounted to 18 thousand PLN.
