High-grade regranulates are the core of the ML Polyolefins offered at the Kielce Plastpol? 

I tried to prepare something special as I wanted to surprise visitors to the plastics processing industry event in Kielce. The process of perfecting recipes and searching for new solutions is natural for us, thus I wanted to show the wide range of possibilities offered by access to high-quality regranulates. In many cases, regranuales are now a real alternative to virgin plastics, although I am inclined to say that circular plastics complement processors’ purchasing portfolio.

What can we expect to see in the novelties section?

Visitors will first of all learn about a wider range of products from the TECHFIN series, i.e. the most high-quality materials in our offer. We have developed new, high purity mixtures; polymer homogeneity and very low content of substances such as heavy metals, PAHs, PFAS. The test results indicate slight differences compared to virgin materials;  therefore, grades available on the market in regranulated form are suitable for the most sensitive applications. Furthermore, we will present a whole range of standardized recyclates with repeatable parameters, available in large, multi-car batches. That is what processors need most today; homogenous quality in large volumes, delivered over many months. We can provide them with what they demand.

Are processors now interested in solutions that make it possible to use at least 30% of regranulates in their products?

Some processors deliver according to the assumptions as the response to their customers’ requirements. It is no secret that customers in Western Europe primarily look for sustainable products;  therefore, regranulates in production is necessary to be able to deliver to local markets. However, we know that those processors who have mainly worked with virgin materials are concerned about the regranulates use. We want to meet their expectations. Thus our expo stand in Kielce is the place to meet people from various departments, including R&D, quality control, and people involved in developing new applications. It is worth visiting us, consulting your ideas and discussing solutions - this paves the way to prepare as best possible solutions and thus implement new materials. We have a special product portfolio targeted specifically at processors who are just making their debut in the regranulates domain. Together we will reach the mythical 30% of regranulates input.
