ML Polyolefins starts exporting to six countries. An important contract with Brenntag signed at the Plastpol Expo
ML Polyolefins is Central and Eastern Europe's largest producer of polypropylene regranulate (feedstock obtained from plastics, which can be used for the production of other plastics). The German company Brenntag is one of the largest distributors of plastics in this part of the continent. The firms signed a cooperation agreement after a year of talks.
Under this agreement, the ML Polyolefins products will be delivered to customers in six countries - Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
- Brenntag will reach customers who can make the most of these products. It is vital for the product to meet the customer's requirements. Recycling and production of recyclate ought to matche the quality of original products; this is not easy. Therefore, the standardization of recyclate seems to be a necessity for its successful market recilculation – said Tomasz Mikulski, President of the Management Board of ML Polyolefins at the press conference.
Sara Ghione, Brenntag Polymers EMEA Director indicated that the company decided to cooperate with ML Polyolefins owing to ML Polyolefins' excellent track record in the recycling sector. – The firm provides a high-quality product; there is a customers base ready to purchase – she said.
- This is the first distribution agreement signed by a plastic recycler from our part of Europe with such a robust distributor from Western Europe. The involvement of both companies' teams in the preparation phase is a good herald. Therefore, we are optimistic about the contract delivery - added Krzysztof Nowosielski, commercial director and proxy of ML Polyolefins.
