Modern battlefield - a determinant of artillery systems development. HSW presented new solutions

HSW solutions, which "we should strive for, which should support the artillery so that it can do its job" were described by Krzysztof Trofiniak, president of Polish Armaments Group during MSPO in Kielce

The exhibition at the PGZ stand was prepared according to "Solutions proven in combat" guidelines. Equipment used on the front in Ukraine, such as the 155mm Krab gun-howitzer, the 120mm Rak self-propelled mortar, the Piorun portable anti-aircraft missile system, individual soldier equipment, and various types and calibers ammunition. The seminar "The Modern Battlefield as a Determinant of the Development of Artillery Systems" presented solutions that are already in operation or will be implemented soon. The conference was organized by Polish Armaments Group and Huta Stalowa Wola. 

- The protection of the soldier has been and will be the most important isse;  equipment can be repaired or manufactured from scratch. The human losses will not be reversed – said Waldemar Janiak, director of the HSW Technical and Commercial Office.

Mobile command vehicles, additional armour, and new solutions for KRAB II and RAK II were discussed.

Following the agreements signed yesterday with the USA and PGZ companies, further million-dollar contracts aimed at strengthening NATO's eastern flank were concluded. The Mobile ISR Satellite Reconnaissance Platform is one of the most modern solutions in the world. It allows armed forces to make quick decisions based on real-time satellite data.

This year's 32nd attracted a record-breaking number of exhibitors - 769 companies from 34 countries, including the largest representations from the USA - 53 companies, Great Britain - 34, Australia - 31, Canada - 30, Germany - 28 and South Korea - 27.
