The event's agenda includes numerous conferences, workshops and discussion panels chaired by NGO experts. NGO experts advise on how to develop more effectively -
Jacek Gralczyk, associated with the CAL Local Support Centre, advised that the NGO should be operated like a business. - We keep learning the business approach to planning and management - said Jacek Gralczyk in his lecture on "Strategic approach in the development of non-governmental organisations" a part of the NGO-EXPO.
He explained that regardless of whether you are a circle of rural housewives, a foundation or an association, you should imagine where you want to be in 10 years' time and develop your strategy to achieve your goal. - The organisation and management process is a chain of interrelated activities necessary for the effective achievement of the set goals - said Gralczyk. He explained that every organisation should implement operational processes. - We start with developing a vision and strategy, then the development and management of products and services. We also deal with the marketing and sale of products and services. We must pay attention to sourcing and deliveries. Service management is also essential - emphasised the lecturer.
More lectures and workshops on Friday. The special guest of the event - Deputy Prime Minister Prof. Piotr Gliński, Chairman of the Committee for Public Benefit Works Council, will deliver a lecture on "Civic organisations in times of crisis - challenges for public policies".
