OPI will support GUM with artificial intelligence technologies
The cooperation on scientific research and the implementation of research and development projects, particularly artificial intelligence.
- We focus on two areas, namely the artificial intelligence use in broadly defined meteorology, as well as in medical applications - says Jarosław Protasiewicz, head of OPI.
President of GUM, Professor Jacek Semaniak stated that the agreement makes it possible to efficiently develop meteorology as one of the most underrated areas of life. President Semaniak also emphasised the role of Targi Kielce, which brings together important institutions and boots the creation of joint projects.
- I have always perceived Targi Kielce as a place that not only promotes the city but above all affects the development of the region, which has been often underestimated. Targi Kielce helps develop various industries, also influences the success of our project - the Central Office of Measures. This can be exemplified by signing such an important agreement on the occasion of the expo - said the president of GUM, Professor Jacek Semaniak.
- The development of the Central Office of Measures directly translates into the success of the metallurgical industry, which has now been brought together for the expo. Without the measures standardisation provided by the GUM Laboratories, it would not be impossible to create machines for the precise processing of materials the modern world is constructed of - said the president of Targi Kielce Andrzej Mochoń PhD.
The seminar was also held to mark the occasion - "GUM for the modern economy. Offer for Business ". The meeting participants discussed business solutions for research works offered for the Central Office of Measures.
