PLASTPOL – a great showcase of technological development

25 march 2011
The fair full of novelties will host, among others, the producer of injection moulding presses from Switzerland; Netstal

PLASTPOL

At the exhibition stand of the representative MUEHSAM-ELEKTROMECH (hall F, exhibition stand F1) Netstal will present the ELION series – a most universally recognised moulding machine on the market. The appliance used for producing thin-walled products serves as the proof that the electric appliances are becoming more commonly used.

The machine will be demonstrating the production of thin-walled elements as a proof of high efficiency of this fully electrical machine. ELION produces drinking cups with the short production cycle of 3.3 seconds using a 4 –fold injection mould form produced by the Swiss company Glaroform.

The packaging made of polystyrene produced by Total Petrochemicals receives a decorative label during the production process. The label is made utilising the technology of IML (In-Modul-Labelling).The label inserting into the mould cavity and the simultaneous reception of the ready made product is performed by the automated unit produced by the Swiss company Beck. The Italian company Piovan provides the plastics feed mechanism and the coolers.

The production line presented at the PLASTPOL fair is composed of the appliance, injection mould, the automated unit and the peripherals. It is a typical example of the Netstal’s experience and expertise in providing complex solutions. A client is provided, apart from the high quality and high efficiency system, with the know-how in plastics processing which in turn allows the client to produce the high quality products from the very start. Another advantage of ELION is a low electricity consumption. The system makes it possible to economise up to 70% on electricity consumption.
