Ekotech has consistently enhanced and strengthened its position as one of the most important in the municipal industry for a quarter of a century. For years, Ekotech was organised in conjunction with the ENEX/ENEX Nowa Energia fairs, which were dedicated to energy and new sources of its acquisition. Each Ekotech attracted dozens of exhibitors and visitors interested in the latest solutions in waste management and environmental protection. Exhibitors presented innovative hardware solutions, and numerous conferences and industry meetings enabled the exchange of experiences and discussion of the sector’s current challenges.​ The trade fair was not only the venue for presenting modern technologies in waste management but also the platform for establishing new contacts and business liaisons. ​Ekotech continued its mission of promoting innovative solutions in the field of environmental protection;  exhibitors presented modern machines and devices supporting waste management, as well as solutions supporting environmental protection. Numerous conferences and industry meetings allowed participants to deepen their knowledge and exchange experiences.​ The twentieth Ekotech in 2019 strengthened the event’s position as one of the oldest and largest events of this economic sector in Poland.

This year's 25th EKOTECH held from 8 to 10 April at Targi Kielce, promises to be exceptional;  the trade fair will feature presentations of innovative technologies, discussion panels and conferences, networking and exchange of experiences. The 13th The Gas Engineering Fair EXPO-GAS  will be held parallel to the EKOTECH.
