Premiere of Fendt combine harvesters at the Agrotech Expo
Fendt is preparing its impressive expo stand for Agrotech; the presentation features novelties - expo is the venue for the first time presentation of present an absolute novelty for the 2023 season. The combine harvesters with in up to 260 hp power segment - Fendt CORUS 500. The machine range includes nine five-walker models with cutter-bar widths of up to 7.60 m and two different grain tank sizes and unloading capacities.
The Fendt Corus 500 was designed for flexible use in different crops. The focus was on a high threshing performance with reliable, efficient and robust technology. Different equipment variants in terms of header, threshing unit, sieves and cleaning allow use in a wide range of crops such as cereals, rice, grain maize, beans or peas, even under difficult harvesting conditions.
The 500 series covers the power range from 185 hp to 260 hp - engines meet the European Stage V emissions standard. In addition, the new harvester solutions allow for fuel savings, work comfort and, most importantly, higher efficiency during harvesting.
The new generation Fendt 700 Vario
High power and acceleration with minimum fuel consumption characterize the new Fendt 700 Vario generation with 283 hp engine. Furthermore, the model is equipped with the extra power concepts Fendt DynamicPerformance for additional 20 hp, which enables the 728 Vario to develop a maximum output of up to 303 hp.
The tractor has a low power-to-weight ratio (30.5 kg/HP) with a large power range. The AGCO Power 7.5-litre 6-cylinder engine has been completely redesigned for Fendt. Exhaust gas cleaning by a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) without exhaust gas recirculation. Stage V emissions standards is thus met.
Fendt Cargo T740 loader
New at the Fendt expo stand - the Cargo T740 loader powered by a 100 kW Cummins F3.8 engine, which meets the Stage V emission standards. The drive by CompactDrive gears with an axial piston pump - displacement of 45o. The maximum speed of the Fendt Cargo is 40 km/h.
The raised cabin is the basic element that distinguishes the Cargo T740 from other telehandlers - now a standard in the Fendt loader. With the cab elevated, we do not have to pay attention to the maximum lowering of the engine hood on the right side as well as low boom mounts to ensure good visibility to the right side and to the rear. The elevating cab means that visibility restrictions are no longer a problem. The operator can control the environment around the machine while working from a height of up to 4.1 m, the cabin has a 5-pillar structure, both the windshield and the roof are made of safety glass. An additional advantage of the TopViewCabb cab - the cab suspension provided by the gas accumulator mounted on the lifting cylinder, which significantly increases the work comfort and protects the operator's health.
These and many machines on display at the Agrotech expo from 17 to 19 March in Targi Kielce.
