PZPN’s Deputy President officially opened the Targi Kielce’s “Safe Stadium”

The conference is a part of the campaign for sports facility safety enhancement

The “Safe Stadium” Conference and the ALARM and SPORT-OBIEKT exhibitions have been formally opened by Roman Kosecki, the PZPN Deputy President for Training

A whole array of specialists take part in the debate, and among them: Adam Olkowicz – the EURO 2012 Championship Director for Poland, representatives of PZPN, Polish police Headquarters, the EURO 2012 Polska SPV as well as the Ekstraklasa S.A. (Polish Premier League)

This year’s edition also focuses on recapitulation of the European Football Championship EURO 2012 tournament held in Poland. The conference encompasses the key-importance issues of station and sports venues safety, audience sector monitoring and management as well as Poland’s sports infrastructure provision and development. The conference is a perfect chance for experience and information exchange not only does it bring together specialists from the security sector but also representatives of sports clubs from home and abroad in addition to the delegates of institutions which work for security provision as well as sport facility construction and modernisation. This year’s debate mainly focuses on the EUROP 2012 recapitulation. The presentations delivered in the meeting touch upon such questions as: the base caps organised in Poland for UEFA EURO 2012 tournament; the role of the Police in security provision at mass events and their experiences of EURO 2012, the Mass Event Security Act – proposed amendments, licence criteria for infrastructure and their impact on the safety level of football matches and the function of the Safety Manager

The 12th Exhibition of Sport Facilities, Fittings and Construction SPORT-OBIEKT and the 13th Visual Surveillance Exhibition and Conference ALARM will be also held on 6th and 7th November. SPORT-OBIEKT is the showcase for the equipment which has been used and tested at numerous stadiums as well as for the latest solutions for sport arena safety. ALARM - the exhibition branch range encompasses all kinds of protective and preventive measures used in danger spots and poorly supervised areas

The evening ceremony of Targi Kielce and PZPN award presentation also encompasses the Grand Fair Play Gala; the PZPN President’s Cups and Accolades are presented to individuals and institutions responsible for sport tournament organisation and safety assurance of tournament participants and spectators.
