Religious icons, paintings and sculptures auctioned at the Sacroexpo! The total value exceeded 160,000 PLN
For the first time, the 24th Sacroexpo Exhibition witnessed the Sacrum auction; the works presented at Targi Kielce went for sale; the auction offer included 55 works: icons, paintings, collectible lithographs and sculptures. Bidders were offered selected works, the bid was in person at the Kielce exhibition and congress centreor by phone and online on a special platform. The auction catalogue includes "The Last Supper" by Robert Jadczak, modern icons created at international plein-airs, an extremely interesting icon by Borys Fiodorowicz, depicting St. George fighting a tank, and pop-art and comic-book depictions of Madonna and saints. There is also a real treat for collectors - Salvador Dali's lithographs from the Biblia Sacra collection with the artist's handwritten signature and Jerzy Nowosielski's incographs from the limited collector's portfolios "Bogurodzica" and "Mandylion". Also items for lovers of three-dimensional forms; a golden sculpture of the Madonna by Jacek Opała, a crucifix by the excellent Jean Lambert-Rucki and a sculpture of a saint made of steel by Wit Bogusławski are also available.
You can take part in the Sacroexpo Exhibition until Wednesday, 21 June. This is admission-free exhibition; the same rule applies to fringe free.
