Robert Krzak moderates the debate within the scope of the Private Label Forum!

One of Poland’s most experienced trade managers, both in terms of strategy and operational management, Robert Krzak will chair the main debate on 6 November at Targi Kielce. The debate will bring together experts from the private label sector. The industry’s most topical issues will be discussed. Tickets for the debate and the whole Private Label Expo are now available

The Private Label Expo - the only event in the country 100 percent dedicated to private labels, is held on 6 and 7 November 2024 at the Kielce exhibition and congress centre.  For two days, manufacturers will talk shop with representatives of retail chains from Poland and abroad. On the first day of the expo, 6 November, exhibitors, buyers and event visitors will take part in the Private Labels Forum;  development of this industry will be discussed during lectures and debates. The speakers - specialists representing the private label sector, and the moderator of the main debate - respected expert in the trade and consumer products sector, Robert Krzak.

Robert Krzak graduated summa cum laude from law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University,  he gained expertise and experience when working for Polish and foreign brands.  In the years 1986 - 1991 he worked in the Austrian Julius MEINL AG Vienna as a buyer in the central purchasing department for four supermarket chains, including   Julius MEINL, Bruder Kunz, Renner, Pam Pam. From 1996 to 2001 he was a member of the management board and commercial director at Makro Cash&Carry Poland,  in 2003 and 2004 he worked at Electrolux Home Products Europe Brussels/Stockholm/Conegliano. As a Member of the Global Purchasing Council and Senior Purchasing Director, he was responsible for 26 factories in 16 European countries.  

Since 2005, he has been an independent consultant and interim manager of many projects.  His professional portfolio includes the position of vice-president of the management board of the Piotr i Paweł chain (from 2014 to 2018), project manager for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (project strategy for the EMPERIA Group). He developed the Komfort supermarket chain’s strategy (for Enterprise Investor). He undertook the challenge of preparing the strategy and operational management for the NOMI retail chain (for Enterprise Investors). Arcelor Mittal Steel HQ in Paris and Bridgepoint (M&A), Fratelli Passotti Brescia (M&AND) projects are also a part of portfolio. In the years 2016-2018 he chaired the Polish Trade Forum, and since 2019 he has worked as a Senior Advisor for EY Polska.  An active commentator on events in the trade industry
