Over 40 parish gazette journalists from all over Poland joined the SACROEXPO’s workshops targeted at editorial teams. The speakers addressed the internet and the new media utilisation in parish newsletter editorial works (Krzysztof Piądłowski one of the Opoka editors), instructed on how to write in an interesting yet responsible way ( Tadeusz Konopka the correspondent of the Italian information agency ANSA) and how to take care of the visual side of your publications (Michał Obiedziński, and artist and graphic).

The meeting organisers prepared a special competition for all the workshop’s participants; they were asked to devise the name for the event. Anna Szkdudlarska of the Gstynin’s “W Promieniach Miłosierdzia” (In the Flames of Mercy) was ranked first. From the nex edition onwards the workshop will be held under the banner of: SACROMEDIA – heart and mind unity in truth and prayer; the name suggested by Ms Szkudlarska.

The competition runner up was Father Tomasza Brożek: “Word Honing Workshop – for you to write with Power”. Fr Brożek represents the “Głos Jadwigi” (Jadwiga’s Voice). MS Alicja Puckowska of “Echa Nazaretu” (Echo of Nazareth) was ranked third; her suggestion was “Here I am– the e-mail to HEavens”.

After the workshop session the participants had the chance to see the film “The Spirit”, the presentation was preceded with Maciej Bodasiński’s (the film director) talk on film making. Then they were invited to join the panel discussion on the Holy Mass with the prayer for healing.
