The Fruit and Vegetable Farming Expo has been organised since 2013 by Warsaw's Oikos Publishing House. The event is one of Europe’s most important industry events of this kind.   The upcoming expo is held in Targi Kielce on 18 and 19 January 2023. Admission is free after registering on the site  - go to tsw.pl/.

About 300 exhibitors, including 50 foreign companies, will present their offer - tractors, harvesters, machines, devices and equipment, cold stores and storage facilities, and constructions designed to protect crops, fertilisers, protection agents, and biostimulants, to name just a few.

Specialised tractors for orchards work and vegetable crops

Visitors are offered the chance to have a closer look at the specialist tractors which operate between rows of trees and shrubs and on vegetable crops. Rolsad brings Solis vehicles. Agro-As displays Landini tractors with the new MISTRAL 2. Hydro-Masz presents TYM compact tractors. Agri - Handler offers the versatile Steyr tractors. Visitors will also meet the novelties from the Iseki brand; tractors for work in orchards and gardening. Tractors for vegetable work and operating between the rows are also offered by Massey Ferguson and Deutz-Fahr, Elrol brings its Lovol tractors. There new products galore is guaranteed.

Combine harvesters replacing many people’s work  

The latest fruit harvesters showcased at the Fair of Fruit and Vegetables Expo are presented by Dom-Wid, Dominik Widarski - the machine producer. A powerful machine for picking apples, plums and cherries, as well as a device for picking industrial apples complemented with a new apple harvester with a completely different design are presented by Grunner. We will also see a machine for picking industrial apples produced by the Centre for Technical Support of Orchards CWTS. The new structures are designed to streamline work and reduce costs. 

Machines for several jobs at the same time 

Vegetable growers have the same goal,  thus an interesting expo novelty - a machine that facilitates mulching work. The machine forms a bed with the use of an active tiller and an active compaction roller, spreads geotextiles, covers its edges, cuts holes where plants are to be planted and lays out irrigation pipes. Thsi machine is brought by the Agrimpex company. The same firm also presents a biodegradable and compostable film in the soil. The use of the solution also reduces the amount of cultivation. Carousel planters and grippers for seedlings are also helpful. Nursery planters, and weeders with a sprayer brought to the expo by the Solan company also come in handy for frowers.  

Size of sprayers tailor made for orchards 

The offer of machines is complemented by sprayers - e.g. those from Agrola. These sprayers work perfect in orchards, vegetable and shrub plantations. Dominiak offers spraying devices built to the individual dimensions of the orchard. 

Weather-independent constructions 

There is much more than cultivation of fruit and vegetable crops - there is a plethora of machines. Polytunnels, structures protecting crops against rain and hail, as well as irrigation systems that ensure growth safety and independence from weather conditions are also in demand. There is abundance of offer at the Kielce trade fair. Another novelty is the self-ventilating covering system - Covering VOEN, which makes it possible to harvest the fruit earlier.

Storage and packaging   

After harvest fruits and vegetables require appropriate storage method, so the event also hosts companies dealing with refrigeration and storage - including Enreco. There are also companies supplying machines for sorting and packing fruit and vegetables - including Milbor PMC, Sorpac, STAS. The Sunpack and Wimar present a wide range of materials for manual and automatic packaging. And Sinclair offers labels, labelling machines and technical support.

The owners of fruit and vegetable plantations will find the Fruit and Vegetable Expo abound with all vehicles, machines and devices. These appliances make their work more effective and less expensive. The event at Targi Kielce is held on Wednesday and Thursday, 18 and 19 January.
