A need for further insight into the questions of non-destructive testing has been one of the reasons of creation of the Kielce division of the Polish Association for Non Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics SIMP.

The Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship members of the Association of Polish Engineers and Mechanical Technicians SIMP who deal in non-destructive testing as well as associated testing techniques have developed an initiative to create the Kielce division of the Polish Association for Non Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics. Joanna Adamczak has been appointed the president of the Kielce PTBN i DT Division – Ms Adamczak is the Fair of Industrial Measuring Technology and Non-Destructive Testing CONTROL-TECH project manager.

Non destructive examination techniques have been designed to find faults in materials as well as to assess constructions and structures. It is possible to discover manufacturing defects with the use of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing – NDT) and help to avoid lifetime reduction of faulty elements or even a major failure caused by structural deficiencies of a material.

Non destructive procurers allow for early selection of defective elements; it also has a pivotal role for continuous and stable operation of industrial installations.
